Hello! I’m Jessica, a rock and jazz drummer based in the South East of England. I’m primarily the drummer for the alt‑metal band HAWXX, but I also play Bonzo (John Bonham) in the touring Led Zeppelin tribute CODA and do session work for various artists.

I’ve been with HAWXX since 2018, and in that time we’ve toured all over the UK and Europe and performed at major festivals such as Download, Bloodstock, Summer Breeze, and The Heavy Music Awards. We were winners of the PRS Women Make Music Award in 2020 and have been featured in Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, Kerrang!, and many other publications. Our second album is due for release this year.

Before joining HAWXX — and up until spring 2024 — I played with the jazz and funk band The Drawtones. We recorded three albums together and played many jazz club shows, including a number of performances at Ronnie Scott’s, as well as appearances at various jazz festivals.  Between 2022 and 2025 I played “Donna Powell” in the all‑female Slade tribute SLADY.

Alongside these projects, I’ve had the joy of playing with a huge number of bands and artists across a wide range of genres — from German Oompah to orchestral work, jazz, musical theatre, and rock ’n’ roll. I’m always excited to learn, adapt, and explore new musical styles.

I’m endorsed by TRX Cymbals and hold a music degree from LCCM (London Centre of Contemporary Music). I’m available for session work, live performances, and drum lessons, offering my expertise to students and artists across all levels and styles.
